Stanišovská Cave is neither the largest nor the most beautiful of Slovak caves. But it is worth seeingYou and your children will certainly remember the experiential exploration of the beauties of this cave for a long time.
Right in Liptovský Mikuláš you will find the Slovak Museum of Nature Conservation and Speleology. 2 exhibitions – Karst and Caves of Slovakia and Protected Nature of Slovakia – Earth, a Place for Life are spread over 4 floors of the museum from the basement to the attic. On 1400 m2 you will find interesting artifacts about caving, beauty and nature conservation. The museum also includes a relaxation area where you can watch films or just take a moment to breathe and recharge your batteries. The museum organizes many events for the public throughout the year that can make your visit to the museum more interesting. Only 14 km from Liptovský Mikuláš stands a unique Evangelical church, which is among the the largest wooden buildings in Central EuropeThe church in Svätý Kríž has a floor plan of 43 m and is in the shape of a cross. If you are familiar with wooden churches from northeastern Slovakia, which are rather smaller in size, this one will appeal to you. amazes with its majesty. It fits inside almost 6000 people. The interior is magical. At first glance, you will be impressed by the wooden Baroque altar or the unique pulpit, which stands on a log foundation. The atmosphere of the church is truly unique, do not miss it.
