In the beautiful countryside of Liptov, in the village of Demänová, there is a family resort that stands out for its ecological philosophy and sustainable practicesThis unique project was born from the mind of the owner, who wanted to create a place where the whole family, including children, would feel at home. Demänová Resort offers relaxation and fun for all visitors - from families with children, to couples, to larger groups of friends.

One of the main characteristics of the resort is its sensitive location and construction. It is located on a wide meadow, outside the protected forests of Demänovská Valley, which makes it mminimized interference with nature. Not a single tree was cut down during construction; on the contrary, over a thousand trees were planted, including pines, firs, fruit trees and shrubs, as well as herb beds. Thanks to this, guests can soon expect to taste the first fruits from these trees.

Demänová Resort prides itself on using natural materials, especially wood. All buildings in the resort are wooden houses with an ecological certificate. Ecological principles are also adhered to in everyday operations – from using eco-friendly toilet paper, which saves thousands of waste cartons, to recycling waste and using eco-friendly cleaning products. Towels are changed after only three nights, which in turn saves water.

The restaurants and bakery use a large amount of ingredients from local suppliers and socially responsible entrepreneurs, which supports the local economy and reduces the ecological footprint. In addition, the resort is not only eco-friendly, but also pet-friendly, so four-legged friends are also welcome and have eco dog toilets ready. 

A significant part of the resort's success is its recent award. Demänová Resort received the prestigious ESG certificate with an A rating, awarded by the renowned company CRIFThis certificate confirms the excellent level of sustainability and environmental responsibility of the resort, which increases the trust and prestige of the resort. The certificate is based on a methodology that meets international standards.

In addition, you will find not only comfortable accommodation, but also a number of attractions right on the premises - from the SKI center, through the summer aquapark Aqua FUN, to a children's playground full of fun.
