Yes, almost all of our apartments and cottages have a fully equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and basic utensils.

Do you offer accommodation suitable for large groups or families?

Yes, for larger groups, the Family Inn apartments (capacity up to 11 people), the Deluxe Loft apartments or the Luxury Villa with a hot tub, which can accommodate up to 12 people, are ideal.

Can I come to stay with a dog or other animal?

Yes, we are a pet-friendly resort. Accommodation with a dog up to 20 kg is possible in the categories Relax, Comfort, Superior, Deluxe and Wellness cottage for a fee of €20 / night. Larger breeds must be consulted in advance.

Where are breakfast and dinner served?

Breakfast and dinner are served in the main restaurant PINUS directly on the resort grounds.

Yes, we offer classic, relaxation, Thai and Indian massages. Prices start from €32 for a 20-minute classic massage.

What is VIP SKY WELLNESS?

This is a private wellness for 1 hour for 2-10 people. It includes an infrared and Finnish sauna, an open-air jacuzzi with a view, a cooling tub, prosecco and fruit. The price is €200.

What attractions are there at the resort for children?

Children can look forward to the FUN Center with a 3D maze and trampolines, the Kids Zone with climbing frames, the Aqua FUN summer water park, and regular animation programs with mascots.

Is there a swimming pool open in the summer?

Yes, during the summer season we operate an outdoor aquapark Aqua FUN with two swimming pools and inflatable slides.

Do you have your own ski resort on site?

Yes, there is a Demänová SKI Center right on the premises, which is ideal for beginners and families. Guests often have a ski pass included in the price of their stay.

What other winter activities do you offer?

In addition to skiing, we offer snow tubing, an ice rink right on the premises, a cross-country ski track, and a dedicated sledding zone for children.

Is it possible to rent ski equipment at the resort?

Yes, the resort has a SMILE rental shop where you can rent ski equipment and e-bikes with a discount for guests.

Do you offer discounts on nearby attractions?

Yes, our guests can take advantage of discounts on MaraFUN water attractions or the Mária Boat cruise on Liptovská Mara.

Demänova resort - A modern yet very pleasant resort, ideal for families. Nice accommodation, well-kept surroundings, and plenty of options for spending free time directly in the area. Everything is clean, accessible, and well thought out. Our apartment M11 was spacious and modern. Free parking is available directly in front of the apartment building, including containers for separated waste. We especially liked the free access to the FUN Center, where both our child and we had great fun. Half board in buffet form with a good selection also suited our child with a gluten-free diet. The sauna world was large and varied, and I appreciated that after 5 pm it was adults only, ensuring peace and quiet. The changing room is very small and shared. Minor issues such as undercooked tarhoňa, a several‑hour sewage smell in the apartments on Saturday, or unchanged bedding upon arrival (which was fixed almost immediately) did not spoil the stay. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, although some spoke only English. The stay exceeded our expectations.

We love coming back to this resort, it's a modern and perfectly equipped complex. The apartments are nice, clean and have everything you need. What I liked most was that there are a lot of activities right in the resort, from wellness to playgrounds to the entire fun center, so no one gets bored there. If you're looking for a place where you can really relax and not have to worry about anything, this is it.

We spent the Easter holidays at the Demänová resort and it was our first time here. It is an excellent choice for children in case of nice weather, because here you can find animals that you can pet, playgrounds, fun center - carousels, bouncy castle, etc. During the holidays there was also an animation program, which was for both older and younger children. In case of bad weather, you have nothing to do with the children here, because there is no indoor playground. The restaurants located in the area were excellent, we had breakfast during our stay, which was great and there was nothing missing. We had lunches and dinners in the restaurants in the area and we were also satisfied. We were accommodated in an apartment building, I missed cleaning (at least taking out the garbage) and we also had problems with electricity, television, a broken kettle, a smelly drain and so on. So the accommodation did not appeal to me, but the area is really great.

We had a wonderful time at the resort. The biggest advantage is the private ski slope. Plus, there's delicious food in the restaurant and a cozy jacuzzi in the wellness area. The entire resort is spacious, with plenty of space for children, including a playground and a rope park. It's a great base for skiing in Jasna, where a free ski bus departs from the resort. As for the accommodation itself, it's a super cozy space, nice and clean, and the mattress in the bed is incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely want to come back.

The resort is nice and modern with great services, a slope for children, rental, wellness, restaurant. I would add a ski bus for afternoon skiing, the city ski buses are overcrowded and it's quite a struggle to get there. Unfortunately, the room smells of garbage and smoke from cigarettes, probably air conditioning. :-(

We enjoyed our spring vacation here with the children very much. The son learned to ski here thanks to the instructor Veronica. At the apartment there is a ski rental and a slope for children and beginners, which was great. In addition to skiing, the children also had fun in the fun park. The wellness was also great.

Great accommodation with superb rooms. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a wide variety of food. The wellness area is quiet, but overall there are many children in the hotel, so it can be quite noisy. Still, worth recommending and returning to. 🙂

We really liked it and my daughter skied for the first time with you. The credit goes to the instructor Monika who was patient with her and had a great attitude. I recommend it and we will return next year because of her attitude. The only thing that doesn't suit everyone is that the reception is only in English at some times. The resort is super designed for children.
