Of course. We are a pet-friendly resort – you can bring a dog up to 20 kg, a cat or a rabbit with you. However, staying with a pet is intentionally limited to selected apartments so that we can also accommodate guests with allergies or other special needs.
It is therefore always necessary to report animals in advance - ideally when booking the accommodation. The animal may share with you apartment located in buildings B, C, D, E, F, I, N and S (except for the jacuzzi apartments). These buildings are designed for dogs up to 20 kg. Please note that in the case of larger breeds prior consultation is required, as it is a higher surcharge applies (40€). We would like to avoid any misunderstanding.

Upon arrival, you will receive a large and a small towel. Guests who wish to change towels should contact the reception. The service fee is €2,00 per towel.
Demänová Resort thinks ecologically. Although we provide almost all the services as in hotels, in an effort to participate in reducing water waste, room service and towel change in apartments is not carried out daily, but only for stays of 5 nights or more. However, if necessary, contact the reception and resolve this issue to your satisfaction.

Air conditioning is not a standard feature of our apartments. We regulate the temperature in the apartments not only by recuperation, but also by screens that actively prevent the apartments from heating up. For the greater comfort of our guests, we are also working on offering air-conditioned apartments, but we cannot currently guarantee accommodation in these apartments.
Upon arrival at the cottage, we will prepare wood and wood chips for you to start the fire. If you would like more wood, just contact the reception and the wood will be delivered to you. This service is charged at €10,00.

Yes, an Ayurvedic stay can also be purchased as a gift voucher. Since this is an individually tailored program, it is necessary to provide the recipient's contact details (email and phone number) so that we can contact them before the stay and arrange an initial consultation and basic information about the program.
At the same time, it is important that the recipient is informed in advance that this is not a classic wellness stay, but an Ayurvedic program focused on regimen, diagnostics, and customized diet and procedures.
