Yes, for larger groups, the Family Inn apartments (capacity up to 11 people), the Deluxe Loft apartments or the Luxury Villa with a hot tub, which can accommodate up to 12 people, are ideal.

Can I come to stay with a dog or other animal?

Yes, we are a pet-friendly resort. Accommodation with a dog up to 20 kg is possible in the categories Relax, Comfort, Superior, Deluxe and Wellness cottage for a fee of €20 / night. Larger breeds must be consulted in advance.

Where are breakfast and dinner served?

Breakfast and dinner are served in the main restaurant PINUS directly on the resort grounds.

This is a private wellness for 1 hour for 2-10 people. It includes an infrared and Finnish sauna, an open-air jacuzzi with a view, a cooling tub, prosecco and fruit. The price is €200.

What attractions are there at the resort for children?

Children can look forward to the FUN Center with a 3D maze and trampolines, the Kids Zone with climbing frames, the Aqua FUN summer water park, and regular animation programs with mascots.

Is there a swimming pool open in the summer?

Yes, during the summer season we operate an outdoor aquapark Aqua FUN with two swimming pools and inflatable slides.

Do you have your own ski resort on site?

Yes, there is a Demänová SKI Center right on the premises, which is ideal for beginners and families. Guests often have a ski pass included in the price of their stay.

In addition to skiing, we offer snow tubing, an ice rink right on the premises, a cross-country ski track, and a dedicated sledding zone for children.

Accommodation

Of course. We are a pet-friendly resort – you can bring a dog up to 20 kg, a cat or a rabbit with you. However, staying with a pet is intentionally limited to selected apartments so that we can also accommodate guests with allergies or other special needs.

It is therefore always necessary to report animals in advance - ideally when booking the accommodation. The animal may share with you apartment located in buildings B, C, D, E, F, I, N and S (except for the jacuzzi apartments). These buildings are designed for dogs up to 20 kg. Please note that in the case of larger breeds prior consultation is required, as it is a higher surcharge applies (40€). We would like to avoid any misunderstanding.

Equipment of apartments and cottages

Each kitchenette has a kettle, microwave, induction hob, pots, pans, cutting board, grater, pots, ladles, spoons, knives. Also a set of plates and cutlery, a set of glasses, cups. Dishwashing liquid, dish towel, dish sponge. Also salt, sugar, black pepper. There is also a refrigerator in each apartment.
DeLuxe Cottages and Superior Loft and Deluxe Loft apartments are also equipped with a dishwasher.

Restaurants and catering

Of course, part of the center is Restaurant PINUS, which will delight the taste buds of both adults and children. The second option is a bit more exotic – above the Pinus restaurant there is Indian restaurant SAFRANHere you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you come in winter, during a skiing holiday, you can comfortably enjoy your favorite bombardino, tea, or fast food in the restaurant. Snack bar right on the slope.

Wellness & massage

The wellness center at the resort works in such a way that for every two nights of your stay you get one free entry. So if you come for four nights, you will have two free entries per stay. If you stay with us for six nights, it will be three entries. Of course, you can visit the spa as many times as you want during your stay. After you have used up your free entries, the entry fee is as follows from the price listFree entrance to the wellness center does not apply to a stay in the Wellness Cottage; entrance can be purchased separately.
From the beginning of opening hours until 17:00 PM you can come to wellness with children. During this time, you can enter the common areas and the hot tub in a swimsuit. However, swimsuits are not allowed in the saunas, so please use them without a swimsuit.

After 5:00 p.m., our wellness area becomes an adults-only area, where all sauna customs are followed to ensure maximum relaxation. With the exception of entry with children (after 5:00 p.m.), a swimsuit-free zone applies throughout the wellness area.

Upon entering the wellness area, each guest receives a bed sheet and a large towel. Guests can borrow bathrobes for outdoor use for a fee of €5,00.

Świetne miejsce dla rodzin with small children. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. There are many attractions and activities with animators on the site, thanks to which children practically did not have time to get bored. Wyżywienie occeniam bardzo dobrze. The breakfasts are delicious, the lunch is really great, and the cakes are very good, each of us found something for yourself, especially the waffles in przypadku dzieci :) Na miejscu jest dodaktowa strefa wellness, strywnia oraz wieczory z muzyką na żywo, which makes rązkoz dorośli możej przyjemnie spędzić czas. The houses are a bit far from the restaurant, but it was not a problem for us, the daily walks were a pleasant element of the stay. The surroundings are quiet but still offer many nice places to go, caves, mountains, Tarzania park or Tatralandia, which turned out to be an absolute hit. A little further also a castle. Gdybym mała wskazać jedenu rzecz do poprawy, it would be tylko temperature wody w ezzynym basinie. Pogoda w górach jest bardzo zmienna i podczas naszego pobytu woda was cold, przez co dzieci mał korzystały z tego poolen. Apart from that, it was a really good stay and we would be happy to return here again. Polecamy!

Bardzo dobry výrobá na wakacje z rodziną! Obiekt jest około godzinki od the border from Poland, so if you are a Polakiem like me, raczej docenisz that you don't have to go far. I think I'll start with the apartments. Kádky jest umieszczony w zaparnym domku, unless you buy a whole house. Apartamenty są in super stanie, vidže że newe, jest diżyąca winda to get to them :D. The view from the balcony is przepiękny, because you can see only the fields and the Tatras. Minus niestety taki, że somey domki są umzyszęcie far od restaurnica czy innych attracziones, i trzeba wchodzic parę minut pod lub z góry aby się gettogo to the center of the resort. Now something about attractions! I think that they are really nice, because there are two outdoor pools and a wellness area and a gym, one of them is inside. There is also a rope park and a playground in one, as well as trampolines and other things of this type. For younger children, there are animations every day, but also for teenagers and adults. These attractions are very nice, but my favorite is the mini zoo and alpacas! First, now a little about the food: It is good, but without excess. Zarówno jak na śniadaniu i obiadokolacji, jest szeroki wybora dań, aw depending on the time of the day, są gofry lub fontanna chekoladowa, co jest bardzo fune! Przy vyjściu to the restaurant there is a lake with koi carp, a playground, fountains, a cafe, and a cellar with souvenirs. Chyba więcech I have nothing to say, but miejsce warte powrotu :D

We discovered this place when our daughter was three years old and we were looking for a safe place where the whole family can enjoy their vacation without having to make significant compromises. We found here a unique combination of quality accommodation (we like rooms in apartments with their own terrace), entertainment for children (animators, playgrounds, attractions, swimming pools) and quality catering (previously half-board, now we choose to stay without meals and go to Pinus / Krivána for food as we please, or have food delivered from Liptovský Mikuláš to the apartment). When it comes down to it, you can easily spend the whole day in the area. But the surrounding area offers so many other options that it would be a shame at the same time. We came back here for the third time this year and it certainly won't be the last time. There could definitely be a few things to improve, but I won't deduct stars for them, because they don't bother me that much. English will come in handy for communicating with some staff members. The local restaurant cannot deliver around the area (but a courier can come from outside). The wellness is miniature, its opening hours are dismal and there is still part of the day without swimwear (so we don't use it at all). The Fun card loyalty application in the area is ignored by the staff and is not promoted in any way on site. As it is, it would be nice if discounts could be applied at least from the total hotel bill upon departure. In its current state, I consider it rather a hidden tip for the staff.

After 20 years, we returned to Slovakia for a vacation, this time with young children, and to be honest, we had some reservations. In the past, we started choosing destinations farther west for vacations and ski trips because we felt that prices had gone up, but the quality of services, the attitude in hospitality, and the overall experience did not always keep up. At Demänová Resort, there was a small unpleasant issue at the beginning, which for a moment brought back that old feeling. But what happened afterwards completely changed our impression. The problem was handled very correctly, quickly, and with a truly guest-focused attitude. The management's approach was exemplary. This is exactly how a situation should be handled when something does not start off the way it should for a guest. Overall, the resort was a very pleasant surprise. We are having a great time, the kids are enjoying it too, the surroundings are beautiful, the services are solid, and most importantly, it finally feels like the quality has caught up not only in terms of pricing, but also in service, attitude, and guest experience with what we are used to in Western Europe. I would also especially highlight the food: it is very good, and both the selection and the quality are absolutely fine. For us, this is an especially important factor on a family vacation, and we were not disappointed in this regard either. I am very happy to say that after 20 years, visiting Slovakia again has been a very positive experience. Demänová Resort did a lot to change our previous impression, and made us feel that this is a place worth coming back to. We are happy to recommend it, and we would gladly return ourselves.

Smaller closet in the alley, large toilet with shower, opposite is a bunk bed (metal construction, a little creaky). Large balcony - I would call it a small terrace :) We did not use the meals, the price seemed disproportionately high for what we would have eaten :)
