Have you ever tried a summer vacation right in the heart of Liptov by the Slovak Sea? The Liptovská Mara reservoir offers visitors tempting attractions that will remind you of a vacation in tropical countries. One of the experiences offered is an unforgettable cruise on the Mária boat.

Sailing on Liptovská Mara – stable and with toilets

Are you looking for a safe attraction suitable for the whole family? How about taking a look at the surrounding mountains from the water? The Western Tatras, Low Tatras or Chočské vrchy are right in your hands, it is a truly magical sight. The renovated boat Mária is extremely stable, and therefore suitable for mothers with strollers. In addition, it has seating and is the only one on Liptovská Mara to boast toilets.

You can find the boat Mária at the car camping dock. Maracamping in Liptovský Trnovec. During July and August, cruises take place daily, every full hour from 10:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m. In other months, it is possible to make individual arrangements.

An hour-long cruise full of experiences

An experienced team led by the ship's captain will welcome you on board. Children can enjoy the surrounding view during the cruise or, upon agreement, a unique animation program. Adults will feel the wind in their hair and relax while sailing on the Liptov Sea. The adventure cruise lasts about an hour, during which you will learn many interesting facts from the history of Liptovská Mara. The cruise can also be a great choice if you are planning a family or children's celebration - the ship's team will be happy to arrange an animation program exactly according to your wishes.

Liptovská Mara also offers adrenaline water attractions, pleasant beaches, various dining options and comfortable accommodation right by the water in cottages, tents or caravans. It's not far from the Demänová resort either. Take the children on an adventure cruise one day of your vacation, you definitely won't regret it.

Accommodation

Of course. We are a pet-friendly resort – you can bring a dog up to 20 kg, a cat or a rabbit with you. However, staying with a pet is intentionally limited to selected apartments so that we can also accommodate guests with allergies or other special needs.

It is therefore always necessary to report animals in advance - ideally when booking the accommodation. The animal may share with you apartment located in buildings B, C, D, E, F, I, N and S. These buildings are designed for dogs up to 20 kg. We would like to remind you that in the case of a larger breed prior consultation is required, as it is a higher surcharge applies (40€). We would like to avoid any misunderstanding.

Equipment of apartments and cottages

Each kitchenette has a kettle, microwave, induction hob, pots, pans, cutting board, grater, pots, ladles, spoons, knives. Also a set of plates and cutlery, a set of glasses, cups. Dishwashing liquid, dish towel, dish sponge. Also salt, sugar, black pepper. There is also a refrigerator in each apartment.
DeLuxe Cottages and Superior Loft and Deluxe Loft apartments are also equipped with a dishwasher.

Restaurants and catering

Of course, part of the center is Restaurant PINUS, which will delight the taste buds of adults and children alike. The second option is a bit more exotic – above the Pinus restaurant is the Indian restaurant SAFRAN. Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you come in winter, during a skiing holiday, you can comfortably enjoy your favorite bombardino, tea, or fast food in the restaurant. Snack bar right on the slope.

Wellness & massage

The wellness center at the resort works in such a way that for every two nights of your stay you get one free entry. So if you come for four nights, you will have two free entries per stay. If you stay with us for six nights, it will be three entries. Of course, you can visit the spa as many times as you want during your stay. After you have used up your free entries, the entry fee is as follows from the price list.
From the beginning of opening hours until 17:00 PM you can come to wellness with children. During this time, you can enter the common areas and the hot tub in a swimsuit. However, swimsuits are not allowed in the saunas, so please use them without a swimsuit.

After 5:00 p.m., our wellness area becomes an adults-only area, where all sauna customs are followed to ensure maximum relaxation. With the exception of entry with children (after 5:00 p.m.), a swimsuit-free zone applies throughout the wellness area.

Upon entering the wellness area, each guest receives a bed sheet and a large towel. Guests can borrow bathrobes for outdoor use for a fee of €5,00.

Demänová Resort boasts a unique location in the heart of Liptov, which is rich in interesting places. You can visit several of them even in the rain, you can go to the Stanišovská Cave or to the indoor playgrounds, of which there are more in Liptovský Mikuláš.
