You don't have to go far for water fun. We have a children's water park Aqua FUN right in our resort! You will find a large 20-meter swimming pool with an obstacle course and a small children's pool. Children will have a blast on two inflatable slides or in a large inflatable aquazorbing ball.
If you are looking for more pools, Tatralandia is the largest aquapark in Slovakia and a paradise for all children. You will find up to 14 pools, 28 slides and toboggans in it. Surfing on wild waves, various animations and year-round events are an attraction for older children and many adults. Younger children enjoy the children's part of the aquapark, the warm water in the tropical paradise and the pirate sailing ship. They also enjoy diving in the snorkeling pool.
Our experience: During our stay at the water park we appreciated Baby Silent Zone, where my son and I could relax after water fun and exploring the corners of the aquapark. The zone is well equipped - we found everything for preparing baby food, a bottle warmer, a high chair, a changing area, baby cots and a small children's corner with toys. Finding such a quiet place to breastfeed and relax was a big plus in Aquapark Tatralandia.
In Liptov you can also find other water areas, swimming pools and aquaparks, such as the Bešeňová Water Park and the Aqua Vital Park in Lúčky. In summer you can also swim in Liptovská Mara and in many other places.
Going to Liptov and not seeing the "Liptovské more", as the Liptovská Mara reservoir is called, would be a sin. Especially if you have children.
Liptovská Mara, and more precisely Mara Camping in Liptovský Trnovec, combines several attractions for children - swimming at the beach swimming pool, adrenaline water sports, boating, fun in the Kids Zone and a pleasant addition for both young and old is sightseeing cruise on a boat.
Mara Camping is the only campsite on the banks of Liptovská Mara. Our opinion: If we are to evaluate it again from a "mom's point of view", it is very positive that the ship also thinks about mothers with strollers. The second plus we saw was that during the cruise the children learned about the history of the construction of Liptovská Mara and the entire Liptov region. Liptovská Mara Camping is worth a visit - both adults and children liked it.
Guys and boys love adrenaline. That on the bobsleigh track in Pavčina Lehota in Liptov you will find a blessing. The track with a total elevation of 120 m is the steepest bobsleigh track in Slovakia. The maximum speed you can reach is up to 45 km/h. The track has 16 turns, 6 off-road jumps and 2 ramps, all of which make the bobsleigh ride even more fun. However, the bobsleigh track is safe and children from 7 years old can enjoy the adrenaline ride alone or with a parent.
If you are staying in Demänovská dolina or have accommodation in Jasná, Pavčina Lehota is only a few kilometers away. It would be a shame to miss it, especially if you have adrenaline enthusiasts at home.

On three playgrounds, including Fitness playgrounds, children and adults can play. The Demänová resort also thought about little princesses. They are in mini houses they can play their favorite games for hours and hours.
3D maze is probably the biggest and most visible attraction of the children's area in Demänová resort. A mountain of fun for children to enjoy on the climbing wall and in Bike park. If you stay at Demänová resort longer, take a look at party tent, where the fun continues. Thanks to air hockey, table football, a punching bag and a basketball machine.
Our opinion: We consider it a huge advantage to be able to enjoy a coffee by a nice lake with a view of the enchanting nature of the Low Tatras and Choč Hills. Adults enjoy and relax while children play. in a safe area, which offers countless opportunities for exercise and entertainment.
Whether you are staying directly at the ecological Demänová Resort, in Demänovská Valley or elsewhere in Liptov, it is definitely worth stopping by this new FUNCENTER. Ask the children.
Zookontakt is an unusual family park with animals and lots of attractions for children. The contact zoo is significantly different from the classic zoo. Here you can feed the animals, take pictures of them up close - the animals are really within reach.

They will get to know their art in an underground workshop where the story of metal comes to life.
Mint is a fabulous part of the realm of Aghartha. You can find it in Liptovský Ján. Near Liptovský Ján, at the end of the Jánská valley, there is also Stanišovská cave, which is also a great experience for children. They explore the cave with a headlamp and an explanation from passionate cavers.
This is something that older boys and men will especially appreciate. The Monaco Grand Prix in Závažná Poruba is 1. Motákar circuit in Liptov and the only 2-story track in Slovakia. You can ride Subaru karts with 7 horsepower, and for children from 140 cm there are children's karts with 5 horsepower. Both types of karts have a timer, so you can encourage the boys' competitive spirit even more.
The go-kart track is 450 m long, with an elevation of 2,3 m. It is 8 meters wide at its widest point and 5 meters at its narrowest point.
