Where is the Demänovská Ice Cave located and how to get there?

Demänovská Ice Cave is located in the northern part of the Demänovská Valley in the Low Tatras, approximately 10 kilometers from the town of Liptovský Mikuláš. This is why people often search for a connection between Demänovská Ice Cave and Liptovský Mikuláš when planning a trip to this region.

The cave is located in the famous karst area, which forms the extensive system of Demänovská Caves. Access to it is via a marked hiking trail from the main road through Demänovská Valley. From the parking lot, it is approximately a 15 to 20 minute walk with a slight incline.

If you are traveling by car, the easiest way to get here is from the D1 highway via the Liptovský Mikuláš exit. Then continue towards Jasná and Demänovská valley.
