FAQ – Frequently asked questions

  • Accommodation

    • What are the check-in and check-out times?

      Check in – Arrival at the apartments is possible from 15:00, at the cottages from 16:00. Najneskôr sa môžete prísť ubytovať do 22:00.

      Check out – Check-out from the room without extra charge is possible until 10:00. After this date, a fee of € 10.00 will be charged for each additional hour. Late check-out is only possible by arrangement with reception.

    • We have a dog, can he come with us?

      Of course. We are a pet-friendly resort, feel free to bring your dog up to 20kg, cat or rabbit. However, staying with a dog is limited to certain appartments, their list can be found here.

      As you can also read in our price list, 20 euros per pet per night.

    • Do you offer accommodation for up to 10 people?

      Yes, we have several accommodation options available for large parties – for example, Superior Loft, Deluxe Loft, Family Inn or Luxury Villa.

    • We're coming on an electric car, do you have chargers?

      We have. And not one. We are a green department and make no secret of the fact that we enthusiastically support electromobility. That’s why there are classic
      charging stations for all types of electric vehicles. A real specialty for Tesla owners is the original Tesla Supercharger – one of only four in the whole country.

    • Will you issue me a Liptov Region Card?

      Yes. Liptov Region Card – discount card for the Liptov region can be obtained by every guest free of charge.

    • We are entitled to holiday vouchers, can we use them with you?

      Of course, we have no problem issuing you an invoice or accepting holiday vouchers. We work with Benefit Plus, Boomer, Gusto Karta and Callio Karta to accept holiday vouchers. All the information you need can be found at holiday vouchers.

    • How is parking handled?

      Parking spaces are available for our guests in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation units free of charge. There is no need to reserve a parking space. In case you have an electric car, as an eco-friendly resort we also offer you the possibility electrodischargers.

  • Amenities of apartments and cottages

    • Are the apartments equipped with Wifi?

      Yes, both apartments and cottages are equipped with free WiFi.

    • Are towels and bath towels available in the rooms?

      A large and small towel is provided in each apartment on arrival. Guests wishing to exchange towels should contact reception. The service is charged at 2,00€/piece.

    • How often are the towels changed in the apartments?

      Demänová The ministry is thinking about ecology. Although we provide almost all services as in hotels, in order to participate in the reduction of water waste, room service and towel change in apartments are not done every day, but only for 5 or more night stays. However, if necessary, please do not hesitate to contact the front desk and resolve the issue to your utmost satisfaction.

    • What does the kitchenette contain?

      In each kitchenette there is a kettle, microwave, induction hob, pots, pans, chopping board, grater, pots, ladles, ladles, knives. Also a set of plates and cutlery, a set of glasses, mugs. Dish cleaner, dish cloth, dish sponge. Also included salt, sugar, black pepper. In each apartment you will also find a refrigerator.
      The DeLuxe Cottages and the Superior Loft and Deluxe Loft suites are also equipped with a dishwasher.

    • Is there a kettle in the room?

      Yes, a kettle is part of every room, apartment or cottage.

    • Is there a coffee and tea set in the room?

      Tea is included, but coffee is not. Coffee can be purchased in the restaurant Pinus or Safran.

    • Can we find hotel cosmetics in the room?

      In the bathroom of each apartment there is a shower gel & shampoo dispenser in one. In addition, if you come to stay with a child/children under 10 years of age, we will also leave a nice surprise in the bathroom – a mini set of children’s cosmetics.

    • We are coming with a baby, can we rent a cot at your place?

      No problem, we’ll be happy to lend you a variety of baby accessories for minimum extra charge p- not just a cot, but also a potty, toilet seat, bath or highchair, for example. You can order and pay for the accessories directly in the second step of the booking process, or enquire about the options directly at reception.

    • Do you have minibars in your rooms?

      Minibars are only found in wellness chalets DeLuxe a vo Vile Luxury. There are no minibars in the suites.

    • Is firewood included in the cottage accommodation?

      When you arrive at the cottage, we will prepare wood and wood chips for kindling. If you would like more wood, just contact the reception and more wood will be delivered to you. The fee for this service is 5,00€ .

  • Restaurants and catering

    • Is there a dining option at the resort?

      Of course, part of the resort is restaurant PINUS, that will melt the palates of adults and children alike. The second option is a bit more exotic – above Pinus there is an Indian restaurant SAFRAN. You can go here for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

      If you come in winter, during your skiing, you can comfortably pop in for your favourite bombardino, tea or a quick snack in our snack bar right on the slope.

    • What time are breakfast and dinner served?

      Breakfast is served from 7:00 – 10:00. Dinner can be enjoyed between 17:00 – 20:00.

    • Which restaurant will we eat at if we have breakfast/half board/full board?

      Depending on occupancy, catering takes place in restaurant PINUS or in Indian restaurant SAFRAN, or in both spaces at the same time.

    • Are the restaurants in the same building as the accommodation?

      No, both restaurants are in a separate building. It is a few minutes walk from the apartment buildings to have breakfast or dinner. For a better orientation you can see map of the resort.

    • How are breakfast and dinner served?

      A rich breakfast and dinner buffet is served, with something for everyone. Savoury and sweet dishes, fruit and vegetables, hot and cold delicacies. In addition, fresh sourdough bread or baguettes straight from our Kriváň bakery and quality coffee.

      In case of lower occupancy, the food can also be served as a served menu.

    • Does the restaurant also have children's chairs or a children's play area?

      Yes, there is a children’s play area in both restaurants and you can also use the children’s chairs – just ask the waiter.

    • If we want to cook for ourselves during our stay, can we find a grocery store nearby?

      Directly in the resort there is a shop KRIVÁŇ with homemade pastries and other food items, where guests have a 10% discount. And if you get tired of cooking, you can also eat in our restaurant PINUS or SAFRAN indian restaurant.

    • Where can we sit down for a drink in the evening?

      For an evening drink, the newly opened PANORAMA cocktail & lounge bar a unique cocktail bar with a majestic view, where our team will be happy to help you choose the perfect drink.

    • Is there a buffet at the ski slope?

      Yes, in the SKI Centre right next to the slopes you will be served by colleagues in Snack bar. We offer quick refreshments right on the slope – hot and cold drinks, tasty dishes such as langos, paninis or popular pancakes.

  • Wellness & massage

    • Is wellness part of the stay?

      The way it works with the resort’s wellness centre is that for every two nights of your stay, you get a free one-time entry. So if you come for four nights, you’ll get free entry twice per stay. If you stay with us for six nights, there will be three entries. Of course, you can visit the spa as many times as you like during your stay. Once you have used up your free entries, the entrance fee is payable according to price list.

    • When is the wellness centre open?

    • What is in the wellness centre?

      You can choose between two Finnish, steam and infrared saunas with cooling fountains, a tepidarium and two outdoor whirlpools with stunning views. The wellness area also includes a children’s pool and a fitness room.


    • When can we come to the wellness centre with children?

      Access to the wellness centre for parents with children from 2 years of age is available from the beginning opening hours until 5:00 p.m.

      After 17:00, the spa is reserved for adults only to enjoy all the relaxing sauna habits. During adults-only, the spa is a float-free zone.

    • Why is the entrance to the wellness centre for children up to 2 years of age?

      The wellness area is not suitable for children under 2 years of age. Also, the water in the whirlpools is not suitable for small children – it has a higher temperature and chlorine content, which may not be pleasant for delicate children’s skin.

    • Do I need a swimsuit for the spa?

      From the beginning of opening hours until 17:00 you can come to wellness even with the babies. At this time, you can go to the common areas and hot tubs in your swimsuit. However, swimsuits are not allowed in the saunas, so please use a bathing suit without a bathing suit.

      After 17:00, our wellness area becomes an adults only area with all sauna customs observed for maximum relaxation. Outside of the entrance with children (after 17:00), a swimsuit-free zone operates throughout the wellness area.

      Upon entering the spa, each guest receives a sheet and a large towel. Guests have the possibility to rent bathrobes with a fee of 2,00€.

    • Is the spa also available for non-accommodated guests?

    • We are looking for a private spa for two. Do you also offer this option?

      If you are interested, you can pay for a special private entrance to our wellness centres regardless of the number of people. In case you are interested in a private wellness for a larger group of people, we recommend accommodation in one of the wellness chalets with private Finnish sauna and outdoor hot tub.

    • Can we also have a massage at your place?

      Of course. Relaxing, sports, chocolate, honey or authentic Thai massage. We offer more than 20 different types, from which you will surely choose.

  • SKI Centrum

    • How far is the resort slope from the apartment?

      The resort slope is located right in the centre of our campus. Most of the accommodation consists of so-called ski in & ski out apartments, which allow you to go directly to the slopes in your ski boots. For a better orientation we recommend you to take a look at map of the resort.

    • How long is the slope?

      The slope is approximately 850 metres long.

    • Is the slope illuminated?

      Yes, the slope is floodlit and there is regular night skiing. Opening hours can be found here.

    • The kids don't have skis yet, do you also have a rental shop?

      We have – colleagues from Smile Center they will be happy to lend you and your children skiing equipment. We also offer ski and snowboard service, you can also buy them from us.

    • Does the SKI BUS run from the resort to Jasná?

      Yes, you even have a choice of two SKI BUSes. More information and departure times can be found here:

    • Since when is the Aqua FUN children's water park in operation?

      We plan to open the summer season with swimming pools in June – for more details see upcoming events upcoming events. However, since the pools are in Aqua FUN outdoors, their operation depends largely on the weather. Operation ends around mid-September.

    • How many degrees is the water in Aqua FUN pools?

      The water temperature in the pool ranges from 26 to 28 degrees.

    • What pools are in Aqua FUN?

      In Aqua FUN you will find:
      – Large swimming pool for children and adults 20x9m with a depth of 1.2m
      – Children’s pool 8x4m with depth from 15 to 35cm.
      – Aquazorbing pool
      – Inflatable slides with impact pool

  • FUN Center and other activities

    • All attractions in the resort are free?

      Most yes, all no. All activities included in the price of the stay are called FREE experience package and their the list can be found here.

    • What is the price of a ski pass and entry to the children's FUN centre?

      Free for guests. In the case of a ski pass you can ski for three hours free every day during daily opening hours SKI Center. As for the entrance to the children’s FUN center, guests are admitted free of charge for an unlimited period of time.

    • We are going on a bike tour, can we rent bikes from you?

      Yeah. Directly in our resort is located e-bike rental, where you can rent normal and electric bicycles for adults and children. For the little ones we have prepared seats and wheelchairs so that they can take the trip with you.

  • Other

    • If it rains, can we easily figure out an alternate program around the resort?

      Demänová The resort boasts a unique location in the heart of Liptov, which is rich in interesting places to see. Several of them can be visited even in the rain; you can go to see the Stanišov Cave or children’s indoor playgrounds, of which there are more in the vicinity of Liptovský Mikuláš. In addition, several seasonal animations or workshops for children in the resort take place indoors, wellness centrum with a children’s indoor pool is also open in all weathers.
